Steven
Read D.C.
Dr. Steven Read graduated from Palmer College
of Chiropractic in 1987. Palmer College is the nation's oldest
and most prestigious chiropractic college.
He has been practicing in Jacksonville since
his graduation. He is currently finishing his post-graduate
studies to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic
Neurology. He has treated thousands of patients over the years
and served as an expert witness in numerous court cases.
He wrestled collegiately and attended Penn
State University. Still today he spends a lot of time in the
gym as an avid weight-lifter. He previously served in the
United States Army Reserves.
In his spare time, he takes his year 8 old
twins camping and swimming.
Jeffrey Ruterbusch, DO
Our Hormone Replacement Therapy and Anti-Aging programs are medically supervised by Jeffrey Ruterbusch DO. Dr. Ruterbusch is board certified in Sports Medicine, Anti-Aging Medicine and a board certified Nutrition Specialist. He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the Age Management Medicine Group and the International Society of Sports Nutrition. He also assists with the medical management of our patients that are suffering from acute or chronic pain.
Dr. Ruterbusch was a Senior Flight Surgeon in the United States Navy. He is still currently an Associate Professor, College of Health Professions for Central Michigan University.
He is obsessed with health, nutrition and fitness and strongly believes that the body has the ability to heal itself in most instances. He currently serves on several Advisory Boards for nutrition companies.
Dr.
Jim Diesen
Dr. Jim Diesen is a 1988 graduate of Logan
College of Chiropractic in St. Louis. He is the practice administrator
of Ortega Chiropractic and Orthopedics. His main responsibility
is to see that each patient receives better attention and
care then they can receive anywhere else.
He is always available to discuss your care
with you and your family.
He is a self-admitted sports fanatic, and
has a particular passion for the jaguars and Gators.
Dr.
Lisa Sundvall
Dr. Lisa Sundvall is a Neuropsychologist,
having received her Doctorate of Psychology from the Miami
Institute of Psychology in 2002. She completed her post-doctoral
fellowship at the New Orleans Veterans Affairs medical Center/Tulane
University School of Medicine.
She specializes in evaluating traumatic
brain injuries and post-traumatic stress disorders.
In addition she is the Director of the Volusia
Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health Clinic in Daytona.
Pamela Mobarak
Pamela Mobarak has been our office manager
for over four years. Previously she worked as a claims analyst
for Blue Cross Blue Shield. She has an extensive background
in insurance billing and is always willing to assist you in
any situation you might have with your insurance company or
attorney.
